Vaccines are now available for those aged 18 and up, the government has made it mandatory for those aged 18 and up to register through the Co-Win portal (or the Arogya Setu or UMANG apps) in order to get vaccinated. You've come to the right place (Afinoz) if you're uncertain about the registration process. In this article, Afinoz has included all the required steps for vaccine registration and slot booking. 

Creating an account on the Co-Win website 

It's easy to register yourself and your beneficiaries on the Co-Win portal. All you need is your phone number and a government-issued photo ID, such as an Aadhaar card or a driver's license. 

• Step 1: Visit the Co-Win portal, either online (https://www.cowin.gov.in/home) or via the Co-Win app. The Register/Sign In choice can be found in the site's right-hand top corner. Select the same. 
• Step 2: Next, enter your 10-digit mobile phone number. You may also use your Aarogya Setu or UMANG account to log in. 
• Step 3: For verification purposes, you'll be asked to enter the OTP you got on your phone number. 
• Step 4: After your OTP has been validated, click the Register Member option to begin the registration process. You will register a total of four people, including yourself. 
• Step 5: Fill out the registration form, which looks like this. You'll be asked to enter the form of photo ID evidence you have and your ID number. Fill in your name exactly as it appears on your photo ID proof (you'll be asked to prove it at the vaccination center for verification). Fill in the remaining fields, such as your gender and birth year, and then press the Register button. 
• Step 6: Congratulations, you have now successfully registered as a member.  
• Step 7: After you've finished registering, you'll see the dashboard below, which contains information about each registered member such as their reference ID, secret code, ID evidence, and appointment details. If you want to delete a member, simply press the bin button on the right-hand side of that member's profile. Click the Schedule button to see if any slots are open and to make an appointment. 
• Step 8: When you click the Schedule button, a banner will appear at the bottom of the page. To continue, click the Schedule Now button. 
• Step 9: You'll now have the option to schedule an appointment. You can look for slots by using your pin code or by selecting your favorite district. 
• Step 10: You'll see a list of available centers and their locations. You can choose the location based on your preferences. Age 18+, Age 45+, Covishield, Covaxin, Paid, and Free are the available filter choices. 
• Step 11: If a slot is available, a green button will appear with the number of slots available. You can book by clicking on the same – you'll be asked to choose a time slot and enter a captcha code to complete the process. Following a good booking, you will receive detailed information about your vaccine, which you can download as a PDF. You'll also get an SMS with the details.

This site utilizes the Co-Win open API to assist you in locating vaccine slots in your area/district. 

Other sites and applications, such as PayTM Vaccine Finder, Telegram groups, and Twitter groups, can also assist you in finding open slots. You may want to join these groups as well. However, keep in mind that these only alert you when slots become available in your region. To book an appointment, you'll still need to log in to the Co-Win portal or the Aarogya Setu/UMANG app.
