Property market witnessed the highest inflow of funds in 2018 since the last 10 years
In light of the constructive initiatives of the Government, there will be more inflow of funds in the realty sector. As per a recent Economic Times report, in the next 3-4 years, there will be incurred interest of global investors, and there will be more inflow of global funds here. Asian funds like Ascendas Signbridge, GIC, and Temasek are increasing their direct investments. Other funds that are active in the real estate include Canada’s Brookefield Asset Management, Japan’s Mitsubishi, American Fund Managers Blackstone, and KKR, QIA of west Asia to name a few. Affordable housing is the next engine of growth in India. There will be a significant investment in the affordable housing and consumers are getting benefit under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
