The parent company of Oyo viz. Oravel Stays Ltd. has filed a draft with SEBI to launch Rs. 8,430-crore IPO. HSBC India offers home loan balance transfers at 6.45% p.a.

HSBC India has lowered its home loan interest rates by 10 basis points (bps) 6.45% p.a. for customers who transfer their home loans at other banks to HSBC. This special rate can be availed across all the loan amounts, and the bank has also waived off the processing charges on these. This special rate will be effective from October 1, 2021, to December 31, 2021. Moreover, other customers can avail of new home loans from HSBC at 6.7% p.a. onwards, the bank said.
Federal Bank attains 10% loan hike in Q2

Federal Bank on Sunday stated it has posted a 10% hike in advances at Rs. 1,37,309 crores for the 2nd quarter ended September 30, 2021. The total advances of the bank loans stood at Rs. 1,25,209 crores at the 2nd quarter’s end of the last financial year, the bank said in a regulatory filing. The bank’s deposits also uplifted by 10% year-over-year to Rs. 1,71,995 crores in the quarter from Rs. 1,56,747 crores in the equivalent period a year ago, the bank further added.

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank has approved a loan of $356.67 million to facilitate the widening of Chennai Metro Rail (CMRL). The project comprises the construction of a new metro corridor as the division of CMRL’s Phase-II development. The corridor will range from Lighthouse in the east to Poonamalee Bypass in the west to make sure of multimodal transport throughout Chennai, extending integrated access to suburban rail, bus stations, and the leading airport. The country's largest public sector bank and moneylender - SBI has released the guidelines with regard to implementation of the RBI’s Resolution Framework 2.0 for Covid-19 linked burden on its official portal. Credit profile of India improves notably in H1 FY22: Rating agencies

Despite the crucial 2nd Covid-19 wave, corporate credit profiles demonstrated robust enhancement, with more rating upgrades than downgrades witnessed in the first half of the present fiscal. The uplift in upgrades of corporates demonstrates a sharp and sustained replenishment in demand, rating agencies said. On Sunday, the leading domestic rating agencies viz. India Ratings and Research, Icra Ratings, and Crisil Ratings presented their reports on the performance of their rated entities during the first half of FY2022. Crisil Ratings witnessed its credit ratio maximizing further to 2.96 times with 488 upgrades and 165 downgrades, India ratings witnessed 150 upgrades and 49 downgrades, and Icra ratings witnessed 303 upgrades in the April-September period. Simultaneously, with just 163 downgrades in H1 FY2022, the incremental stresses on the credit quality of India Inc due to the weak economic elevation and the pandemic seem to have largely subsided, Icra said.

With $18 billion valuations, Byju continues to be India’s most valued private internet entity. It had exceeded fintech firm Paytm ($16 billion valuations) in June. The edtech start-up has already raised around $1.5 billion from a clutch of investors including Facebook’s co-founder Eduardo Saverin’s B Capital Group, UBS Group, and Blackston in tranches this year.
