Dumka, a northeastern town in Jharkhand, is settled east of the Mayurakshi River and 55 Km southeast of Deoghar. This city is the epitome of peacefulness and greenery in Jharkhand. It is also acknowledged as Jharkhand sub-capital. It also organises the cattle market every week.
