ABOUT DADRA AND NAGAR HAVELI

Dadra and Nagar Haveli is a district and union territory (UT) in the western part of India. In 1961, it became a part of India and since then it is recognized as an UT. It is situated some 15 miles (24 km) from the Arabian Sea and about 80 miles (130 km) north of Mumbai (Bombay). Silvassa is the capital of UT.
